Bluestripe Pipefish

The Bluestripe Pipefish is one of the smaller pipefish and should be housed in a 30 gallon or larger aquarium with nonaggressive tankmates. They are best kept in mated pairs of one male and female added at the same time. They are the hardiest of the pipefish but are still difficult to keep due to their diet. Most will only accept live food. Try to feed frozen mysis or cyclop-eeze. If it does not accept, feed vitamin enriched live brine shrimp. Feed several times a day. Do not keep with coral or anemones that may sting the pipefish.
